Halogen Free Cable Compounds
Lamplast’s Halogen Free Cable Compounds
Revil are a series of compounds based on
EPDM rubber used for sheathing and
filling cables.
These thermoplastics are
self-extinguishing, halogen-free
compounds with low emission of smoke
and non corrosive, toxic gases in
case of fire, contributing to public
safety and environmental friendliness.
Revil can be extruded at a very high
speed with excellent results, making
it one of the most successful compounds
of the market.
Revil can be used in extruders with
standard PVC screws and is available
in natural or coloured version.
Polypropylene
Lamplast’s polypropylene-based compounds
Syntegum are filled with talc,
calcium carbonate, mica, wollastonite,
reinforced with glass fibre or modified
with elastomers. These materials are
used in automotive, household and
textile applications. All
products are available as
self-extinguishing compounds (V0 or V2
class), with halogens (KX, HJ) or
halogen-free (ZY).
Both Revil and Syntegum are phthalate
free.
